youjackwagon asked: What all did you do to help lose the weight?
I noticed you have some running stuff on your blog, and that is like the complete opposite of what I did. ha. I think I ran a couple times, but that was like .0001% of my weight loss. Most I ran was for 15 minutes one time to burn 300 calories.
I lost all my weight by strictly eating healthy. About 2 years ago I cut out regular soda and moved straight to diet. I lost about 10 pounds instantly from that. Then in August I started to just eat better. No huge meals. I was, and still am, all about calories. I tried to keep all my meals under 300 calories per single serving. Diet dinners were my life saver. I would generally have a meal that was around 250~ calories then maybe snack on “diet chips”. Lays makes these chips from Olestra that are only 110 calories for I think like 32 of them which is great for chips. So I would have a meal and some chips. Veggie Chips, can’t think of who makes them, are such a great substitute and I think they are like 70 calories for 25 pieces or something.
All about low calories. I didn’t care about fat per serving or ingredients I was just straight calories. Kind of cheap I guess, but whatever lost the weight worked for me.
Cutting out snacking was a huge help too, as well as looking at a piece of food and saying “Do I need this?” or “Is this worth the 250+ calories.”
Biggest thing is eating when you are hungry instead of eating NOT to be hungry aka snacking at 4pm or at 11pm.
